Workshop inventory guides

Create a tool maintenance log that stays useful

Maintenance history becomes valuable when it answers what was checked, when it happened and what should happen next without requiring a separate calendar hunt.

Name the actual task

Use specific work such as blade alignment, battery inspection or calibration check instead of a generic service label.

Record completion separately from next due

A finished task is history; a next due date is a reminder. Preserve both so the sequence remains visible.

Surface overdue work

An overdue task should remain prominent until reviewed, not disappear because its date is in the past.

Export with the asset record

Keep maintenance context beside serials, value, location and loan history when creating a workshop report.
